Profile of our Instructors

Russell Baker is one of the original students of Mike Salesman. Russell was Dan graded by Vic Charles in 1988. He has also studied Shotokan Karate. Russell was a judge at the 2002 United Styles Open Competition in Dudley.

Jerome Hamilton was Dan graded by Vic Charles in 1991. Jerome has also studied other martial arts, including Jujitsu, and is an exponent of various weapons. Jerome worked in security for many years, and is a specialist on the application of techniques in a 'street' situation and therefore teaches the more advanced techniques and covers the technical side of karate.

Michelle Honeywell who was Dan graded in May 2002, I have been trained by Russell and Jerome in the art of Wado-Ryu over the past twelve years, since 1993, as well as having additional training since 2001, under the instruction of Sensei Frank Johnson 4th Dan in very traditional Wado-Ryu. Along with Russell, I have been instructing the Kids classes for the past five years, aswell as the adult classes.

All classes are run by qualified, and fully insured Dan graded (Black Belt) Instructors.
